So, the problem is with the scarcity of clean water which may end the life here.

Clean water is very essential component of life, so we need to conserve water for the future safety. If we save water; we save life and save whole world on the earth. Water is called as the universal solvent so it is a key component ensures quality of lives. We should join our hands together and take a pledge of using water according to need only without contaminating it. Importance Of Save Water

Importance of Water In Our Life.

Water is one of the most important substances on earth. All plants and animals must have water to survive. If there was no water there would be no life on earth.

Apart from drinking it to survive, people have many other uses for water. These include:

  • cooking.
  • washing their bodies.
  • washing clothes.
  • washing cooking and eating utensils; such as billies, saucepans, crockery and cutlery.
  • keeping houses and communities clean.
  • recreation; such as swimming pools.
  • keeping plants alive in gardens and parks.
It is most important that the water which people drink and use for other purposes is clean water. This means that the water must be free of germs and chemicals and be clear (not cloudy).

Uses Of Water

The most important uses for water are at our homes. Domestic water use is water used for indoor and outdoor household purposes— all the things you do at home: drinking, preparing food, bathing, washing clothes and dishes, brushing your teeth, watering the yard and garden, and even washing the dog.

Water generally gets to our homes in one of two ways. Either it is delivered by a city/county water department (or maybe from a private company), or people supply their own water, normally from a well. Water delivered to homes is called "public-supplied deliveries" and water that people supply themselves is called "self supplied", and is almost always from groundwater.

How We Can Save Water

Ways To Save Water.

1.Turn off the taps.

Don't let your water consumption run out of control. Save 6 litres of water
a minute by turning off your tap while you brush your teeth. Fix leaky taps  too
and stop what could be 60 litres of water going straight down the drain every week.

2.Shower with less.

Every minute you spend in a power shower uses up to 17 litres of water .
Set a timer on your phone to keep your showers short, sweet and water-saving.
Switching to an efficient shower head will allow you to lather up in less water, which means you'll save water and cut your bills.

3.Save up your dirty clothes.

Washing a full machine load of clothes uses less
water and energy than 2 half-loads . This means lower bills as well.

4. Time your gardening.

Water outdoor plants in the early morning or at the end of the day to stop water immediately
evaporating in sunlight and heat. Water the soil so that the liquid goes straight to the roots,
where it’s needed.

5.Catch rainwater

Installing water butts saves up to 5,000 litres of water a year . And your plants will thank you for
rainwater rather than treated tap water.
You can also cut water use by 33% by watering plants manually instead of using automatic sprinklers.

How To Utilize Rain Water

Collecting your own rainwater is an excellent way to conserve this precious resource. A basic rainwater collection system catches rainwater from your roof or other surface and channels it into a container for storage.
Rainwater itself is generally clean, but it can pick up microorganisms, pollutants and debris when it hits your roof. This is why systems for rainwater use inside your home often include filtration or other treatments for safety.
Outdoor rainwater collection systems don’t need as much treatment because the water is typically used outside.
There are many different uses for collected rainwater.
  1. Drinking And Cooking.
  2. Bathing And Laundry.
  3. Watering Lawns,Gardens And Houseplants.
  4. Rinsing Vegetables.
  5. Washing Vehicles And Equipment.
  6. Fire Protection.
